Over the course of the summer there are 22 games. which the Club plays in the Shropshire League.
It was in 1976 when the club first started playing league cricket and since then they have travelled all over the neighbouring county of Shropshire. It is a pleasure to play in such fantastic country surroundings.
Cricket has been played in Overton since before the mid 19th Century with many villagers playing for the local club. Today the club is made up of a lot of locals, plus some experienced and enthusiastic others.
The Club Badge
The club badge was designed by past pupils at St. Mary’s School, Overton
If you fancy a game, you will be made more than welcome, and you can also enjoy the after match analysis when the team retires to our local public house ~ Overton’s White Horse Inn, where all are made to feel at home.
