Friday April 29th Overton Royal Wedding Party.
We are holding A Party in the Park! on Overton playing fields on when we hope to join together to celebrate The Royal Wedding.
This will be the best wedding reception you have ever attended! There will be music, dancing, competitions and games to cater for all. Bring your own picnic or feast and a prize will be given to the best wedding table or wedding blanket. Be as adventurous as you can, bring candelabras, centre pieces, flowers and remember to dress for the occasion; it is a wedding after all!
Saturday May 7th 10.30am. St. Mary's Church annual coffee morning to raise funds for the Overton senior citizens Christmas Party will be held in the Village Hall. Please come along to help us keep this traditional event going.
Saturday May 7th Quick-fire satirical sketch show From Here to Absurditywritten and performed by Private Eye contributor Richard Kelly, 90 minutes of original comedy sketches Kelly will be joined on stage by Ashley Hern, formerly of the Oxford University Revue, and Lucy Simons, a Flintshire-born actress who has just completed a successful stand-up comedy tour in the North West.
If you fancy live comedy that’s a bit different to stand-up, and a revue that recalls the spirit of Peter Cook and Beyond The Fringe, Overton’s Village Hall is the place to be on 7 May.
